Thinking of becoming a bartender? Our 45-hour Mixology Certification is your perfect starting point! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course equips you with the skills to work behind any bar in Maryland—whether it's a restaurant, lounge, or hotel. Learn the art of mixology, master free pouring, manage inventory, and get familiar with state laws. We cover it all: customer service, cash register operation, fruit cutting, beer and wine service, and crafting those crowd-pleasing frozen and layered drinks. Graduate as a confident, job-ready professional!
At program completion the student will have a knowledge of, Mixology: the proper technique of making a drink; Beverage Control: the art of free pouring; Bar Management: efficient employee scheduling and requisitions; Inventory: measuring the amount of alcohol in a bottle; Cocktail Bar: setting up, stocking, and bar supplies; Bartender Responsibilities: stocking the bar and handling money; Cash Register: operating cash registers; State Laws: knowing state laws…
